More than 1300 commissioned officers in the Air Force serve within The Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps. Our legal practice is challenging and offers early opportunities to litigate in a variety of forums. In addition, joining The Judge Advocate General's Department allows an attorney to engage in public service within an institution highly respected by the American public. We firmly believe that our judge advocates make a valuable and lasting contribution to their country. Financial assistance programs are available for law students who plan to enter the JAG Department upon graduation. You may choose from the Graduate Law Program (GLP) or the One Year College Program (OYCP).
Both a brochure and application are available on line at our Active Duty JAG Recruiting Webpage or our Air Force Reserve JAG Recruiting Webpage. You may also contact the 440th Airlift Wing Legal Office at 414-482-5211 if you have questions.
