Description

This module supports the daily functions of your role as a contract professional. On it, you can complete all tasks from entering a customer's requirements to closing a contract. It contains many tools and features that can help you do your job more efficiently. This module focuses on the procurement process and consists of ten lessons. The first three lessons introduce you to the 'basics' of PD² - how to navigate the desktop, set preferences, use the PD² Advisor, and other frequently-used desktop tools. The remaining seven lessons focus on the specific components of the PR process such as PR creation and modification, creating attachments (e.g., CDRL DD1423, checklists, milestone plans), creating solicitations and amendments, creating awards and post award management. This course introduces you to PD² through a combination of activities including demonstrations and guided simulations that let you practice using the software in a safe environment.
