Please use discretion in posting a classified advertisement and concluding the sale of your listing. Not all potential buyers are reputable or honest. We work hard to keep spam and scammers out of the Stripes Classifieds system, yet sometimes they get in. We block them as quick as we can, but we need you to do your part. Be aware for email responses that appear fraudulent. Look for misspellings, lengthy excuses why the person can't meet you in person and if they want to pay with unusual methods.

WHAT TO DO: If you think an email response to your ad is fraudulent, do not respond. Please mark the email as SPAM and we'll investigate. Note on Posting Print Classifieds
Advertisements may take up to 24 hours to appear online, and 4-5 days to appear in the newspaper. Most classified ads are completely free for service members and their dependents; however, certain ad categories might require a small fee. These include real estate offerings, selling puppies, services offered, flea markets or garage sales off base, and advertisements for a business.
