In 2006, the staff developed a recommendation regarding CPSC's supplemental definition to address scientific advances and new risk assessment methods currently under development by federal agencies. In 2007, the staff's recommendation and analysis was peer-reviewed by scientists from other federal agencies. Goal: In 2008, external peer review of the staff's report on "strong sensitizers" will be completed.
