Alpha Company Families,

On behalf of the company leadership, I would like to extend a warm welcome to the Alpha company family.  I am honored to have the privilege to serve with your Marines and return to my first “Marine” home, 1st Tank Battalion.  I realize many of you have been around for awhile, but we would like to continue to make your service with Alpha Company memorable.

As most of you already know, your Marines recently returned from a successful deployment and the company is currently being reformed.  In the next few months, we will continue to train hard and focus on the basics.  Our company staff and Family Readiness Officer (FRO) will do everything within our power to provide you with resources and assistance to take care of your families.  I ask for your continued support of your Marines, since family readiness plays a key role to the continued success of the company. 

Finally, I would like to personally thank each one of you for sacrifice and service to this country, this Corps, and to 1st Tank Battalion. You are as much a part of this team as any Marine in this company. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to contact myself, the First Sergeant, or any member of the company leadership. My wife and I look forward to meeting all of you soon!
