Where can I recycle plastic bottles?

The Fort Bliss Recycling center, B1334 Marshall Rd. is currently accepting plastics #1 and #2. To find out what family of plastic you are working with look for the recycling insignia at the bottom of the container. Usually, water bottles, soda bottles, detergent bottles, milk jugs and juice bottles. If you work on Fort Bliss and your building has a centralized recycling area, then there should be a container for plastics #1 & #2.

Where can I take yard waste (grass clippings, tree limbs and leaves) and wood?

The Fort Bliss landfill accepts all yard clippings. Soldiers with vehicles that have a red & blue Fort Bliss decal may use the Fort Bliss landfill. The landfill is located approximately 4 miles north from the intersection of Fred Wilson and Chaffee Rd.

Where is the Fort Bliss Recycle Center?

The Fort Bliss Recycling Center is located at B-1334, the corner of Cassidy and Marshal roads behind the new Shoppette, phone # is 568-1537.

Will the Fort Bliss Recycle Center accept Recyclables if I don't live on post

Yes. The voluntary drop off point is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for everyone's use. Only during inclement weather will the Recycling Drop off point be closed. Items accepted are papers, newspapers, plastics #1 & #2, cardboard, aluminum, and magazines.

Where do I take old computers.

The Fort Bliss Recycling Center does not have a collection point for computers as of today.
