11/9/2010 - Lackland Reserve wing honors Veterans and Bravo-12 fallen heroes
LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, TEXAS -- The 433rd Airlift Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit located at Lackland AFB, observes Veterans' Day with a ceremony and farewell salute honoring the nine Alamo Wing "Bravo 12" aircrew members who lost their lives 20 years ago at the start of Operation Desert Shield.   Full Press Release

4/10/2010 - 433RD AIRLIFT WING CHANGES COMMAND
LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Hundreds of reservists will participate in and observe a change of command ceremony here Sunday. Brig. Gen. John C. Fobian, commander of the 433rd Airlift Wing, will relinquish command of the Alamo Wing to Col. Kenneth D. Lewis, Jr. during a change of command ceremony Sunday, April 11, at 10 a.m.   Full Press Release

10/1/2009 - Alamo Wing conducts training in Canyon Lake area
LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, TEXAS -- The Alamo Wing' s 68th and 356th Airlift Squadrons will be conducting aircrew qualification training in the Canyon Lake area, north of San Antonio on Friday, Oct. 2nd. Local residents can expect to see HH-60G Pavehawk helicopters flying around the Canyon Lake area between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m... They are part of the training. Air Force Reserve Command's 305th Rescue Squadron located at Davis Monthan AFB Ariz., is providing the rotor-wing support. The mission of the San Antonio based 433rd Airlift Wing includes operational missions and all Air Force C-5 aircrew training.
