Special Veteran Services
 Veterans History Project

In partnership with the Library of Congress, the Veterans History Project preserves and makes accessible stories of veterans and civilians who contributed to U.S. war efforts. My office works with veterans in the 24th District to record their testimonies for permanent access through the Library so that future generations may better understand the realities of preserving freedom.

Many veterans who leave the service for civilian life are unaware of their due military decorations. I believe all veterans deserve recognition, no matter the length of time that has passed since they served.

The District Office goes to great lengths to research a veteran’s history and then communicate with the Armed Service Departments to retrieve earned military decorations.
