Directions
From Bradley Airport, Hartford, Conn. and points north and west:
Take I-91 south toward Hartford. Exit 30 (left exit) to I-84 east and a quick exit onto Rte. 2 east toward New London and Norwich. After Colchester, take exit 19 for Rte. 11 south toward New London. At the end of Rte. 11, turn left (east) on Rte. 82. At traffic light, turn right onto Rte. 85. Just past Crystal Mall, take a left onto I-95 north and exit immediately to the right onto the frontage road. Take the Briggs Street exit. Turn left at end of exit and go straight through three traffic lights. Turn right into the main gate of the Coast Guard Academy. Academy personnel will direct you to parking and Leamy Hall Auditorium or Cadet Memorial Field.
Alternate route from Bradley Airport and Hartford:
Take I-91 south toward Hartford. Take exit 30 (left exit) to I-84 east and a quick right onto Rte. 2 toward Norwich. Take exit 28 onto I-395 south toward New London. Take exit 78 (left exit) to Rte. 32 south. Go straight through seven (7) traffic lights. Take first possible right after Connecticut College, just before the overpass. Turn right at stop sign (Briggs Street), turn right at next stop sign (Williams Street), turn left at traffic light (Mohegan Ave.) and right into the main gate of the Coast Guard Academy. Academy personnel will direct you to parking and Leamy Hall Auditorium or Cadet Memorial Field.
From Worcester and western Boston suburbs:
Take the Mass pike to I-395 south toward Norwich and New London. Take exit 78 (left exit) to Rte. 32 south. Go straight through seven (7) traffic lights. Take first possible right after Connecticut College, just before the overpass. Turn right at stop sign (Briggs Street), turn right at next stop sign (Williams Street), turn left at traffic light (Mohegan Ave.) and right into the main gate of the Coast Guard Academy. Academy personnel will direct you to parking and Leamy Hall Auditorium or Cadet Memorial Field.
From New Haven, New York and points west and south:
Take I-95 north to exit 83 (downtown New London). Turn left at end of exit onto Williams Street (traffic light). Turn right at next light onto Mohegan Ave. and right into the main gate of the Coast Guard Academy. Academy personnel will direct you to parking and Leamy Hall Auditorium or Cadet Memorial Field. From Providence, Cape Cod, Boston and points east and north: Take I-95 south toward New London to exit 83 (Frontage Road). Take first exit (Briggs Street). Turn left at end of exit (traffic light). Go straight through two more traffic lights and turn right into the main gate of the Coast Guard Academy. Academy personnel will direct you to parking and Leamy Hall Auditorium or Cadet Memorial Field.
