Each week while Congress is in session the Office of Advocacy will post a highlights schedule of congressional hearings and committee markups that we think will be of interest to stakeholders in the small business community. Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of House Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a hearing on the safety of the nation’s food supply in light of the recent outbreak of salmonella associated with eggs from Wright County Egg and Hillandale Farms of Iowa. In addition the panel will review the voluntary egg recall.

    Giving Disabled Veteran owned businesses the same status as minority owned is a huge step in the right direction.
