About the McChord Medical Clinic
The McChord Medical Clinic offers a broad range of clinical services designed to deliver patient-centered health care to Joint Base Lewis-McChord active duty service members, families and retirees.
The clinic’s staff provides acute, chronic and preventive care to enrolled patients through a Patient-Centered Medical Home model of care. Three separate medical home teams comprise McChord’s group practice. Each medical home has a team of medical providers, a team Registered Nurse (RN), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) that work together to coordinate your health care. The Patient Centered Medical Home also has a Wellness Center with extended team members including a Case Management Nurse, a Behavioral Health consultant and a Pharmacist (PharmD) to assist in comprehensive care.

*All Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) eligible beneficiaries can use our prescription services. The pharmacy can fill original prescriptions from civilian or military sources, and transfer refills from other military installations as long as the pharmacy carries the medication. Patients may also use TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery or a TRICARE civilian network pharmacy.

The McChord Clinic provides these walk-in services for adult patients enrolled to the Family Medicine Medical homes Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

- Suture Removal
- Tests for Urinary Tract Infections (women 18-50 years)

From the McChord Field Main Gate continue on Bridgeport Rd. for 0.3 miles and veer left onto Colonel Joe Jackson Blvd. At the traffic light turn right onto Barnes Blvd. and continue for 0.3 miles the McChord Medical Clinic will be on your right.
