2012 NAGC Communications School

Washington, DC

date to be determined

The NAGC Communications School is the only event of its kind that provides invaluable networking opportunities and practical educational sessions to help government communicators increase their skills.

Point Proven

Milissa Reierson, communications manager for the City of Franklin, Tennessee, attended the recent NAGC Communications School where she heard one of our keynote speakers, Admiral Thad Allen, USCG, retired Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard and NAGC’s 2011 Communicator of the Year, talk about the importance of social media. So she blogged about her city’s use of social media, noting Admiral Allen’s validation of the concept. Almost as if to prove the point, her blog was shortly thereafter mentioned and linked to by Forbes magazine!
