filmstip A brown marmorated stink bug on an apple. ARS scientists inspect a trap baited with experimental pheromone lures. Adult and late-instar nymph stink bugs feed on a Honey Crisp apple. An adult parasitoid insect emerging from an egg of a stink bug. A technician counts the number of adult male and female stink bugs captured in a trap. ARS scientists evaluate purities of synthetic lures.

Food engineer pours fish gelatin solution into a pan for drying. Food microbiologist places a frozen catfish fillet into a device for surface decontamination by pulse UV treatment. Scientists demonstrate a technique where channel catfish are immersed in water containing the modified live Streptococcusiniae vaccine.
