American Women's Club

Whether you are new to New Zealand or have been here for a while, the American Women's Club in Auckland hopes to make your life a little easier and perhaps happier while you live here. Members live in the greater Auckland area and range in age from 20 to 80. Some are war brides married to American GI's, others are on company transfers, and some are married to Kiwis. The club's aims include:

• Promoting mutual goodwill, understanding, respect and co-operation between club members and the New Zealand community;
• Assisting new American residents in adjusting to life in New Zealand;
• Maintaining an American atmosphere within the club by observing traditional holidays and activities.
