• Conceptual Design and Performance Analysis of the EQ-SANS Diffractometer
  The baseline design for the EQ-SANS has remained largely the same as in this conceptual design. However, the details have changed a lot due to design optimizations. The instrument is designed to be highly flexible to accommodate future upgrades, including polarization optics (non-magnetic materials are used within ~ 2 m of the sample area), focusing optics, high-speed choppers for inelastic discrimination, etc.
• Chopper Design and Operation for the EQ-SANS
  Chopper design remains largely the same as described here. The chopper housings have dual positions to allow the usage of high-speed choppers in the future.
