We are looking at doing a PREA audit of compliance.  Have any of you audited your PREA program and facilities, and can share the format you used, who you pulled in to do it, and any other details?  It doesn’t make sense to start from scratch if it has already been done.  Please share any information you have on the above topics and I will share it and the results of what we do with all of you.

I have posted this question to the National PREA Resource Group also

The Moss Group and the PREA REsource Center put out a tool kit for self audit.  Until the DOJ finishes their auditor training and certification on line training, we have the following self audit tool kits.

This one id for juvenile agencies or facilities

This one is for jails/prisons
