Members of the Air Force Reserve 931st Air Refueling Group at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., double check individual mobility bags before loading them onto a pallet in preparation for a future deployment, Oct. 29, 2012. Each Airman is required to check and sign off on his or her mobility bag to ensure the proper equipment is in the bag. Desert Deployers

Airmen from the 931st Air Refueling Squadron wait inside a KC-135 Stratotanker Tuesday for the beginning flight of a deployment to Southwest Asia. Operation Arctic Care

Sgt. 1st Class James Morris of the 1st 207 Aviation Regiment tows a Black Hawk helicopter that will transport an Army Veterinary Corps team to the village of Alakanuk, Alaska, on March 7, 2009. Operation Arctic Care is a joint military medical readiness exercise that brings no-cost health care to underserved Alaskan residents, including dental, optometry and veterinary support. Looking Up

Tech. Sgt. Robert Lorenz took this photo from the inside of the Sabanci Central Mosque in Adana, Turkey, while recently deployed with other Airmen from the 931st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Though the mosque is just 10 years old, it was built with a classic Ottoman design and is considered the symbol of Adana. It has the capacity to serve 28,500 people and is the biggest mosque in the Middle East.
