My comments on the proposed changes are :
I want to be able to opt out of the medical records data base and I want the protections to be as comprehensive as possible.
Also the estimated price tag for this change to an electronic system is over one billion dollars !
The claims that the new system will generate billions in savings are not supported by evidence or the history of changes like this !
Medical records are important private information and they need to be kept as secure as possible.
