The Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Program announces the selection of 97 nonprofit homeless service providers as Beneficiary Organizations in the 2011 Help the Homeless Program. Nearly 12,000 people in the Washington, DC area are without a home. More than 40% are families and one in four a child.
