COURSE LENGTH:  8 days
 
PURPOSE:  To provide ANG personnel assigned duties with responsibility for explosive safety guidance in developing a site plan, mishap investigation, determining quantity distance, inspection criteria, storage and transportation requirements, base map requirements, explosive compatibility and application in accordance with Air Directives. This course prepares safety professionals for ESOHCAMPS and walks through lessons learned with other ANG Units. 

PREREQUISITE:  Must be assigned as the full-time Occupational Safety and Health Manager (1S0XX), Explosive Safety/NCO (2W0XX or 2W1XX), Engineer Draftsman (3EXXX), and/or personnel with additional duties in Explosive Safety. Chief of Safety's are encouraged to attend. 

NOTES:  Students are required to bring a scientific calculator and current copies of the following documentation: AFMAN 91 -201; TO 11A-1-46, and AFI 91-202 with supplements. Students may bring their own site plans, Explosive Facility License's and any/or all Explosive Safety Programs for review.
