MEDICAL ASSISTANT PROGRAM (MAP)

The Medical Assistant Program is offered in Partnership with WAMC.  Participants of the MAP program will train in clinics at WAMC and outlying clinics.  MAP is a 6 month program and 2 sessions are offered per year: spring and fall.  The program is for a certificate of completion only.

Requirements 

• Military dependents aged 18 or older who have military dependents I.D. card and are High School Gradute or equivalent
• Active American Red Cross Volunteer with a minimum of 50 hours.
• U.S. Citizen

• 200 hours of Training
      - Medical Records
      - ­Appointments
      - Reception
      - Primary Care
• 250 Clinic Hours
• 6 month program

***Hours must be completed during the 6 month MAP Session***
