TYPE OF PROJECT: Building rehabilitation
LOCATION: The National Park Service (NPS) site is located in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
CONGRESSIONAL INTEREST: DesJarlais (TN-04), Alexander (TN), Corker (TN)
NON-FEDERAL SPONSOR: NPS
BACKGROUND: NPS is updating the building and converting some maintenance space to office space. The Corps is providing construction oversight. Estimated construction cost is $433 thousand.
IMPORTANCE: The NPS needs to provide offices for staff. Also, the building is not energy-efficient and is not ADA-compliant.
STATUS: Nearing completion of construction.
