Larry W. Horowitz
Physical Scientist
NOAA / Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL)
My research interests include tropospheric chemistry and chemical transport modeling of gas-phase and aerosol trace species. An important tool in my research is the MOZART chemical transport model. I am also developing a coupled chemistry-climate model AM2-CHEM to study interactions between chemistry and climate. I am a member of the Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry Group and the Global Atmospheric Model Development Team (GAMDT) at GFDL, and collaborate closely with the Climate and Ecosystems Group.
