    On its Purchasing & Procurement page, Energy Star offers MS-Excel-based calculators to estimate how much money and energy you can save purchasing ENERGY STAR air cleaners.

    • * - Federal agencies are required to purchase products as designated or specified under this program.

Identifies the applicable environmental program(s) and any minimum content levels (applicable to products containing biobased content or recovered materials only) recommended for federal purchases.

Lists sources where federal buyers may purchase the identified green product, including the applicable GSA Multiple Award Schedule, GSA Global Supply, AbilityOne, and UNICOR. Note that GSA sources do not currently identify Design for the Environment labeled products. Since not all products offered by these sources meet applicable green purchasing requirements, buyers must verify that products purchased meet the desired environmental criteria.
