In Leipzig: "Friends of America" Stammtisch
The U.S. Consulate General Leipzig kicked off a Stammtisch initiative in Summer of 2010. Americans and Friends of America alike are invited to our monthly after work/school informal gathering always on the last Thursday of every month beginning at 6PM at Restaurant/Cafe Wall Street in Leipzig. Meet people with similar backgrounds and experiences. Help others master the process of registering with the German authorities and settling in or just come to chat about developments in Leipzig, Germany or at home!
In Dresden: "International Happy Hour"
Regularly on every last Thursday of the month, there is the perfect opportunity to meet new people or see old acquaintances in the bar Times Square. The Community Room organized this International Happy Hour in cooperation with the city of Dresden as a meeting point for everyone who is internationally minded. We start at 6 pm.
In Erfurt: "Stammtisch - Round Table"
Every Wednesday at 8 p.m. the German-American Society Erfurt meets at the Restaurant Louisiana. Here you can meet people from all walks of life and various nationality.
