The HUD National Homeownership Center Reference Guide has been removed from the HUD website. 

Lenders should refer to outstanding mortgagee letters, handbooks, FAQs and the FHA Resource Center for policy guidance.  Content previously found in the Reference Guide can now be found online at the FHA Frequently Asked Questions Site, at http://www.hud.gov/answers.

While the Reference Guide was a useful tool, FHA is in the process of reviewing and consolidating policy references as part of an overall effort to provide more efficient access to policy resources.  This is the first step towards achieving that goal.  Please change your bookmarks now.
