Hints and best practices for searching within FPDS

Thank you to our Greater Southwest Acquisition Center  for sharing their tutorial on how to conduct searches within FPDS.  (you can find them in the document section of this group).  As you know, FPDS is a powerful database that can be used to conduct market research and see what and who are buying in the government.  It's a good place to start to develop and hone in on your target market.  For questions or comments about these instructions you may contact Sandra Clerk-Brown at 817-850-8211 or sandra.clerk-brown@gsa.gov.

Small Business Set-Asides are now an option for customers placing orders against MAS

As a schedule contractor it's important to understand the implications of the Small Business Jobs Act on the Schedules program and specifically what changes are taking place for your customers or potential clients.  Learn what you need to know about how the rules on set-asides have changed.  Use the resources GSA provides to help you become a resource for your customers.  It's another tool in the toolkit that you need to be able to help your customers understand fully.
