UNM Event Aims to Increase Awareness of Career Opportunities with
the Agency's National Clandestine Service
Inspire Anderson Marketing (I AM), a student-run marketing agency at the
University of New Mexico's (UNM) Anderson School of Management is hosting two
information sessions for those interested in a career with the Central
Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) National Clandestine Service (NCS). Both
hour-long events will be held on Tuesday, April 14 in the Isleta
Conference Room at the UNM Student Union Building. The first session begins
at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by an afternoon session at 2:00 p.m.

UNM Marketing Program Featured on National Cable News Network
"Happening Now," with Jon Scott and Jane Skinner on the FOX News Channel (FNC) featured a peer-to-peer marketing campaign for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) created by marketing students at UNM's Anderson School of Management.

Mission and Goals
Mission
- Advance the regional application, management, and knowledge of information assurance (IA) and information security (InfoSec) through educational programs, business practice development, and scholarly research.
- Assist with the emerging Information Assurance and Information Security needs of our local and regional constituents and the university community.
Goals
- Support the development of IA/InfoSec leaders through a balance of teaching, scholarship and partnerships with government, public and private entities.
- Promote IA/InfoSec awareness in the regional K-12 educational community through outreach activities.
- Support scholarships and capacity-building grant applications at UNM.
- Develop and deliver IA curriculum for UNM and partner minority-serving educational institutions.
- Enhance the transfer of IA knowledge and practice in academic environments through pedagogical research.
