Two months ago, we asked designers across the country to reimagine the health record for patients, their families, and the people that take care of them. The response was tremendous, we received over 230 submissions. Our reviewers and curators had one thing to say about all of the entries: they were inspiring.
The reviewers have done their work, and our team will be notifying the prize winners over the next 48 hours through Challenge.gov.
While there are only 12 prizes, we want to celebrate your work. We are putting together an online showcase of over 50 of the entries that challenged the status quo.
We are asking everyone to keep the results of the challenge quiet till early January. We will be making a larger public announcement then. We will share the date soon. We have some special things planned to bring more attention to this effort.

A month ago, we challenged you to re-imagine the printed health record. The challenge closed over the weekend and we received over 230 submissions.
We are are blown away by the quality (and quantity) of submissions. Our reviewers and curators want to make sure we give each entry the time it deserves. The announcement day will be pushed out a bit.
Challenge.gov has a neat feature which lets us open up the gallery to all while we are reviewing them. We will be doing that soon. Keep an eye out for it.

Due to the overwhelming response and number of submissions tonight, it looks like quite a few of you encountered timeouts and site-loading issues. As a result, you were not able to get your entries in. We apologize for that.
