Regional English Language Office (RELO) U.S. Embassy, India

Based at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India, the Regional English Language Office (RELO) supports the professional development of English language teachers.  It also partners with English language teaching institutions from the public and private sectors in order both to improve the quality of teaching and to promote mutual understanding between the host countries and the United States of America.  The region includes three countries: India, Afghanistan, and Bhutan.
Resources that this office can provide include materials for English language teaching, teacher professional development, and training of trainers; workshops, seminars, and online courses to enhance and improve English language teaching; and visiting academic experts and consultants from the United States who can provide assistance with development of curricula, textbooks, tests, and EFL methodology and practices.  The RELO also oversees English Language Specialists, English Language Fellows, and other U.S. government English Language Programs.  Visit here for more information about these programs.
