Still Serving: The Retiree Activities Office serves as an information center for retirees of all military services, their spouses, including widows or widowers. We serve as a liaison between the retiree and active duty communities to keep you updated on matters that relate to your status as a military retiree, to provide information and services necessary or appropriate and to represent retirees at the base level.

A very special thanks to all who attended our recent Retiree Town Hall Meeting.  It was a great event and all who attended enjoyed it very much.   Special thanks for the volunteers of the Retiree Activities Office for all their work in support of the Town Hall Meeting     We will soon begin working on the annual Retiree Appreciation Day   More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).  All Retirees and their dependents (age 10 and up) are required to update their ID cards in the DBIDs system at the Shaw AFB Visitors Center (Main Gate).  Mandatory implementation DBIDS will be 1 July 2011.  After that date you must be registered to enter the base.  Call (803) 895-1633 for more information.
