Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow

Marine and Family Service Department is staffed with licensed clinicians who provide counseling on a variety of topics such as crisis intervention, marriage and family enrichment, grief recovery, traumatic stress disorders, stress management, communication skills and depression. We serve active-duty and retired military personnel and their family members.

The New Parent Support Program offers valuable training for soon-to-be parents, new parents, or parents of children up to five years old. The program offers the following classes and services: parenting skills; children's developmental stages, behavior and discipline; getting to know your newborn; play mornings; "Mommy's Basic Training;" prepared childbirth instruction; "Daddy's Baby Boot Camp;" and specialized training in child safety and potty training.
