    New Danish – American Green Partnership

    A global partnership between the American environmental firm JMM Management Group and Danish software house Geokon was announced at the Embassy of the United States of America in Copenhagen on December 1st, 2011. Ambassador Fulton hosted the signing ceremony to highlight a new Danish – American Green Partnership contributing to environmental sustainability.

    On May 17 and 18 Ambassador Fulton visited the most western part of Denmark. Ambassador Fulton was on a two day trip to Esbjerg. Once a major fishing port, Esbjerg is now Denmark’s offshore capital.

    It was an exciting day on Friday April 15. 22 teams from Danish schools gathered at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Copenhagen to compete in the Danish Championship in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. U.S. Ambassador to Denmark, Laurie S. Fulton, delivered closing remarks just before the winners were to be announced.

    April 12 - Ambassador Fulton presented the 2011 AmCham Transatlantic Company Award and delivered remarks about the importance of the transatlantic relationship between the U.S. and Europe. The 2011 award winner is Grundfos, represented by Dennis Wierzbicki, President of Grundfos Pumps Corporation (center), the company's U.S. branch.
