Fitness Day

Lincoln Lions Roar

On October 4 Lincoln Lions celebrated Fitness Day with the 86th-CSH unit (Combat Support Hospital), Mr. Curkendall, parents, students, staff, the Lincoln Mascot, Bastogne the bulldog, and Abby. “What an event---exciting, energetic, and fun-filled!” The 86th-CSH unit set up an obstacle course where Bastogne the Bulldog walked along cheering students on in his very special way as every student experienced doing push-ups, sit-ups, bear-crawls, the 40-yard dash, and squats. The day ended with a mile walk spear-headed by our very own Fort Campbell Drumline. We are proud to have kicked off our first fitness celebration coordinated by Dr.Carmona and the Wellness Committee.

Reading Counts quizzes

Lincoln now has access to all 40,000+ quizzes offered by Scholastic Reading Counts. You can search for quizzes at Scholastic's Reading Counts web site. Your child can take a comprehension test on any book in this list. Lincoln's Library does not own copies of every book. However, if you get books at the public library or the bookstore, the quiz may be available for testing at school.
