Operaton Coronet Oak deployment

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. Tech. Sgts. Chris Linquist, left, and Shannon Memmelaar, process through the personnel deployment function line Dec. 21 here. The Air Force Reserve Command’s 302nd Airlift Wing sent personnel and aircraft to Puerto Rico's Muniz Air National Guard Base in support of Operation Coronet Oak. There they will support U.S. Southern Command with logistics and contingency efforts. The operation encompasses several missions, including resupply of U.S. embassies, medical evacuation and support for U.S. troops in the region. Dad and daughter reunite

"I just knew you'd come back," said Emilee Murdock after reuniting with her father, Staff Sgt. Richard Murdock, a C-130 crew chief with the 52nd Airlift Squadron. Colorado AF Reservists play important role in Pakistani flood relief

An Air Force Reserve C-130 Hercules combat offloads four pallets of flood relief supplies Oct. 3 at Skardu Airport in northern Pakistan. The mission, flown by 302nd Airlift Wing aircrews from Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., who are deployed to Southwest Asia in support of U.S. Central Command operations, was one of the last fixed-wing operations supporting flood relief in Pakistan. Between Aug. 16 and Oct. 3, C-130 Hercules and C-17 Globemaster III aircraft and their aircrews transported nearly 6 million pounds of much-needed relief supplies to Pakistan aid distribution centers throughout the country.
