Electronic Claim Filing System
Effective December 8, 2012 the Electronic Claim Filing System (ECFS) will be retired and will be replaced by a claim filing function within the Ex-Im Online system. Some of the new features of the new claim filing system include the capability to:
- Start a claim application, save and submit at a later date – "Continue a Saved Claim"
- Attach supporting documentation to the claim application which will be memorialized with the application
- Generate a claim summary with assigned claim # for tracking and reference purposes
- Check claim status while claim is being reviewed/processed in-house
