CES Report: Samsung, Brand Matters Keynotes and a Visit from President Clinton

News broke fast and furiously during the past two days at the 2013 International CES with keynotes from Samsung, which featured a special appearance from President Clinton, as well as the Brand Matters keynote and a host of other sessions and discussions. Dr. Stephen Woo, president, device solutions business, Samsung Electronics, focused his Wednesday morning keynote address on the components that make mobile computing possible and unveiled Samsung’s eight-core Exynos 5 Octa mobile processor. Woo brought on stage with him leaders from several partner companies and organizations, including President Bill Clinton, who discussed the importance of mobile technology to help people around the world.

The Brand Matters Keynote focused on the implications of social media on marketing. Innovators from Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, YouTube and Amazon discussed how they thought brands could engage with consumers on their platforms. [Read more]
