Maintenance Squadron
MCCONNEL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan, -- Airman First Class Zach Buccieri a backshop hydraulics specialits, 22nd Maintenance Squadron, uses a crank to manually extend the boom on a KC-135 Stratotanker. The integrated total force initiative Hyrdraulics Section of the 931st Maintenance Squadron and the 22nd MXS, repair and maintain hydraulic equipment for all KC-135 Stratotankers here. Hydraulic components are a vital part of achieving flight and safe landing. The landing gears, flaps, spoilers, and the boom are all operated with hydraulic equipment. (Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Total Force facility
