Empowerment now!

The overall goal is to increase the participation of people with disabilities in USAID activities and strengthen the capacities of DPOs.

The program is supported by two primary objectives:

(1) To improve the social and economic conditions of people with disabilities, particularly women and children, through public awareness educational campaigns;

(2) Improve both organizational and network development capacity of local DPOs, to increase their efficiency in providing services to people with disabilities, and supporting their rights and gender equality of women and children with disabilities.
