The Air Force Command and Control Integration Center (AFC2IC) is a field operating agency reporting to the Director of Requirements, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hampton, Va.
The AFC2IC plans, programs and guides enterprise-level capability analyses, requirements and architectures to drive Air Force development, integration and standardization of C2, integrated air and missile defense and combat support systems and datalink networks to support the Air Force C2 core function lead integrator.
It serves as lead command for defining, advocating and directing sustainment and modernization strategies for the air and space operation center and tactical datalinks to include joint interoperability of tactical C2 systems, joint and coalition C2 interoperability data standards and air component information management.
The Center develops and prioritizes science and technology C2 investment needs and manages innovation, experimentation and technology transition efforts. It engages with Air Force major commands, joint and coalition partners and national agencies to develop strategies and initiatives to improve air, space and cyberspace C2.
