Los Alamos Concert Series

The Summer Concert Series is presented FREE to the public by the County of Los Alamos and the businesses, professionals, and neighbors listed below in "Meet the Sponsors." This series of Friday evening concerts-in-the-park spans the summer from late May into early September and is held at various locations around the county. Each year, thousands of residents and visitors take advantage of our beautiful park venues, pull up a lawn chair, and enjoy an eclectic variety of talent from rock to blues, jazz, country, Latin, Americana, African & World rhythms and more, including Russian Rokenroll. Don't miss it! All concerts begin at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Every year several hundred students come to Los Alamos to work and live here. Housing can get quite scarce. Please start looking for accommodations as soon as possible. If you can't find housing in Los Alamos, you should also consider Santa Fe. There is a daily Park-n-Ride service between Los Alamos and neighboring towns. See Maps and Transportation. Climate and Weather

Los Alamos is located at an elevation of 7500 feet. Due to this high elevation, heavy physical exertion should be avoided. Drinking plenty of fluids to adjust to the altitude. In June, the days are usually warm, however, brief afternoon rainstorms happen frequently. Temperatures range from high 50's to mid-70's.
