WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) was named to the Farm Commodities and Risk Management Subcommittee and the Livestock and Rural Development Subcommittee of the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture.  Cheri was named to the House Committee on Agriculture on January 4th and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure last month.

Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) held meetings in Rockford with Rockford Mayor Larry Morrissey and the Rockford Economic Development Council.

Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) announced the future location of her Peoria Congressional office.  The office will be located in the Strong Business Center located at 3100 N. Knoxville Ave., Suite 205, in Peoria, and will open at a to be determined future date. 

Yesterday, at the open house for Rep. Cheri Bustos’ new Washington office, local food from Illinois’ 17th Congressional District was served to family, friends and constituents who stopped by to wish Bustos the best during the new session of Congress and to celebrate her swearing in.
