The project will work to mitigate food insecurity in select rural communities where 35-50 percent of residents suffer from the lack of food security. To increase access to food in these communities, the program will help to:
- Develop value chains to encourage income generating activities;
- Introduce farm management practices that increase agricultural yields;
- Improve nutritional practices so that food is used more effectively.
