Protocol

The Protocol Office is the single point of contact for all VIP visits to the 354th Fighter Wing. The office is also responsible for planning and coordinating all official functions and ceremonies for the wing commander.

Command Post

The Eielson AFB Command Post consists of an Emergency Action cell. The EA cell is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and serves as the focal point of command and control for the 354th FW commander. During contingency operations, the wing Battle Staff and Survival Recovery Center convene and operate from the command post.

Comptroller Squadron

The 354th Comptroller Squadron is the focal point for all financial matters at Eielson. It is comprised of the Financial Services and Financial Analysis branches.

Chapel

The Chaplain provides for the "free exercise" of religion. In peacetime, crisis and wartime, the Chaplain offers worship and rites; pastoral counseling; and personal, moral and spiritual growth opportunities for the military community and their dependents. The Chaplain also advises commanders on religion, ethical concerns and quality of life programs, as well as supports deployments of the 354th Fighter Wing.

Historian

The Historian authors the official record of all activities pertaining to wing operations. The wing historian is responsible for the management, collection, organization and analysis of primary documents for semiannual historical reports, special studies, heritage pamphlets and other publications. The office provides historical services and answers inquiries that meet the needs of commanders, wing staff, assigned personnel and outside agencies. The wing historian also maintains currency in mobility training and actively participates in worldwide contingency operations.

Inspector General

The Inspector General's Office is charged with conducting evaluations of the 354th Wing's combat readiness and acts as the primary avenue of redress for grievances and complaints. Additionally, the IG operates a 24-hour Fraud, Waste and Abuse Hotline.

Sexual Assault Response Coordinator Office

Mission:
Our mission is to provide sensitive support, care, and continued advocacy for victims of sexual assault. We are dedicated in working with military and civilian resources to ensure victims understand their reporting options and are protected and treated with dignity and respect to reinforce the Air Force's commitment to eliminate such incidents via continued education and awareness training. Furthermore, we seek to promote victim empowerment, resiliency and stability through offender accountability.

Victim Care:
The SARC serves as the single point of contact for integrating and coordinating sexual assault victim care from an initial report of sexual assault through disposition and resolution of issues related to the victim's health and well-being.

The SARC is responsible for ensuring a victim support system that provides a 24/7 sexual assault response capability for all victims within their designated area of responsibility.

The primary focus of the SARC is on victims of sexual assault. Dependent victims, other than spouses of military members, who are under the age of 18, will be referred to the Family Advocacy Office. Victims under the age of 18 who are not military members and do not qualify as dependents will be referred to the appropriate civilian agency.

The SARC is responsible for ensuring continuity of care and case management, as appropriate, in the event the victim has a permanent change of station, is deployed, redeployed or discharged.

The SARC tracks the status of sexual assault cases in his or her designated area of responsibility and provides regular updates to the Vice Commander.

Staff Judge Advocate

The 354th Fighter Wing Staff Judge Advocate Office provides legal services for Eielson Air Force Base. They assist commanders with maintaining good order and discipline, and advise military members, retirees and their family members on a variety of personal, civil and legal problems. They are located on the third floor of Amber Hall above Finance.

Equal Opportunity

The Equal Opportunity office strives to enhance the 354th Fighter Wing's combat capability by providing the highest caliber of assistance and training to commanders, assigned civilian personnel, retirees and family members regarding equal opportunity issues and human relations issues.

The staff consists of certified Air Force instructors, counselors and mediators. They can assist in the resolution of unlawful discrimination complaints, and act as a referral agency for other human relations matters. For more information contact 377-1357.

Manpower

The mission of the 354th Fighter Wing's Manpower and Organization Office is to assist Eielson commanders in meeting resource challenges by identifying, defining, organizing and defending peacetime and wartime manpower requirements. The office facilitates the effective and efficient use of resources, in order to improve Air Force mission effectiveness and promote efficient resource utilization.

Public Affairs

The Public Affairs office advises the wing commander on unit and public issues, and develops communication strategies to accomplish the mission. It provides base leadership with two-way communication tools to build, maintain and strengthen morale and readiness. Through interaction with the base's internal and external audiences, PA builds public trust and support through open and honest dialogue, and highlights the Air Force as a community partner and responsible steward of resources. In addition, PA implements communications strategies to inform audiences about air and space power's influence on global events.

Safety Office

The Safety office provides safety education and training in order to enhance mission capability and promote personal safety, both on and off-duty. The ground safety office provides a myriad of safety education and training classes, to include newcomer orientation, ATV training and motorcycle safety training.
