This group promotes and supports research to identify, develop, and validate biological markers for earlier cancer detection and risk assessment. The group integrates basic and clinical science studies along with computational, statistical and epidemiologic approaches for a comprehensive understanding of biomarkers. It coordinates the Early Detection Research Network.
This is a listing of Requests for Applications, Program Announcements, and Notices specific to the group's key programs.
In addition to coordinating the Early Detection Research Network, the Cancer Biomarkers Research Group supports research programs in bioinformatics, protein arrays, molecular taxonomy of preneoplastic lesions, molecular signatures of incipient neoplasia, and glycobiology of tumors for detection of cancer and cancer risk.
This section contains reports on the Early Detection Research Network and proceedings of workshops sponsored by the Cancer Biomarkers Research Group.
Mission, staff list, and contact information are in this section.
