2013 Presidential Inauguration Tickets

Thank you for your interest in the 57th Presidential Inauguration. We received a huge number of ticket requests. During the week of January 18, we conducted a lottery to distribute the tickets and contacted the winners. If there are any remaining tickets we will conduct a second lottery and contact the additional recipients.

However viewing the swearing-in ceremony from the National Mall does not require tickets. The Inauguration is free and open to the public and the non-ticketed area of the National Mall begins at 4th Street NW.

For more information on Congress and the Presidential Inauguration, please visit the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies website.  For additional information on the Inaugural Parade, other events, and National Day of Service, visit the Presidential Inauguration Committee website.

The gates open at 7:00 AM and a musical prelude will begin at 9:45 AM. Ticket holders will be required to pass through security screening and should carefully review the list of prohibited items provided with the tickets. Public transportation is recommended for those attending the swearing-in ceremonies on Monday, January 21st.
