4/12/2012 - ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam  -- Senior Airman Reece Simpson, 734th Air Mobility Squadron mission support journeyman, was awarded Team Andersen's Best April 6.

"As a superior performer, Airman Simpson inspected 50 aircraft support consolidated tool kits and corrected 327 identified discrepancies, cementing a phenomenal 100 percent quality assurance pass rate for February," said Senior Master Sgt. Scott MacKeller, Airman Simpson's supervisor.

"Airman Simpson researched and secured a rudder pack test gauge for a non mission capable Cope North Exercise C-130 Hercules. This expedited repairs to the aircraft and aided successful trilateral exercise participation and training," continued Sergeant MacKeller.

Airman Simpson's initiative to go above and beyond is also evident outside of work.
"Airman Simpson recently completed six credit hours towards his community college of the Air Force degree," said Sergeant MacKeller.

Also active in the base community as a base Sexual Assault Response Center Victim advocate, he provided two sexual assault prevention and response briefings for first term Airmen and various tanker/bomber squadrons, sending messages of guidance and respect to 119 Airmen.
