FISH Day

(Friends Involved with Smithville Habitat)

Fish Day is scheduled for April 13, 2013.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri Department of Conservation, and the Clay County Parks Departmen are currently in the planning phases of the event.  We plan to place large brush piles in the lake, host a fishing clinic for kids, and create brush piles on the public hunting grounds.  We will be needing volunteers to help out with the event.   If you would like to volunteer for the event, email the Clay County Conservation Agent, Dan Schepis, and he will add you contact information to the list.  Agent Schepis' email: Daniel.Schepis@mdc.mo.gov.  Make sure you include your name, email address and phone number in the email.
