Dairy Products Prices Annual Summary to be Released May 28

The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) rescheduled the release of the Dairy Products Prices 2008 Summary to May 28 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. It was originally scheduled for release on April 24.
NASS periodically receives additional information to supplement the data collected through the weekly dairy products prices program. This information comes from three sources: verifications performed by auditors from USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service; data resubmitted by dairy products manufacturers to correct inaccuracies identified by NASS; and data resubmitted by plants to correct inaccuracies discovered during internal reviews conducted to comply with mandatory reporting rules.
The Dairy Products 2008 Summary that will be released on May 28 will incorporate all verification data and any other data that was resubmitted by plants but was not available during the four-week revision period.
