Lamborn Statement on the Loss of David Hames

Today, Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05) released the following statement regarding the loss of Colorado resident David Hames in the disastrous earthquake that occurred in Haiti earlier last month.  David Hames’ body was identified this afternoon, among others recovered, at Hotel Montana in Haiti.  
“I was greatly saddened to learn of the loss of David Hames.  A dedicated father, husband, employee, and Christian, David lived out his faith in a passionate way serving not only our local Colorado community, but reaching out to others around the world.  
“He had a huge heart for service, which was evident in how he lived his life.  The creator and host of Cranium’s Ark video series, David creatively intertwined lessons of faith and academics designed to prepare toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners for school.  David was in Haiti working as a freelance videographer for Compassion International’s child survivor program.  
“My prayers go out his wife Renee, and his two children, Aidan and Zander, and all his friends and family.  He will most certainly be missed.”—Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05)
